Hi, I’m Dmitry Dolnikov.

I design intelligent systems - from AI-powered software to real-time electronic musical instruments. My work sits at the intersection of embedded engineering, generative AI, and large-scale data systems, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and real-world use.

Over the past decade, I’ve led technical delivery for global organizations including IMF, Expedia, MTV, and Wolters Kluwer, building enterprise platforms and advanced analytics solutions.

I’m the founder of Musatunix Innovations LLC, where I develop expressive electronic musical instruments designed for live performance. These instruments are built as complete systems, combining custom hardware, real-time software, and deep musical interaction.

Current focus

• Development of a professional digital accordion with real-time automated accompaniment

• Exploration of machine-learning techniques for musical structure and style generation

• Design of embedded systems for expressive human-machine interactions

Background

• I bring over 15 years of experience across software engineering, data platforms, and embedded systems, with hands-on involvement throughout the full product lifecycle - from concept and architecture to implementation and long-term support.

My work emphasizes:

• Usability and musical expressiveness over theoretical novelty

Early work

• An early prototype of my digital accordion was presented at the AccoPremium International Competition (2019) for piano and button accordion players, marking the beginning of long-term development in this direction.
